DDCET full form is Diploma to Degree Common Entrance Test. It is a state-level entrance exam conducted by ACPDC (Admission Committee for Professional Diploma Courses), Gujarat. The DDCET exam is the only gateway for diploma engineering students to get lateral admission into the second year (3rd semester) of B.E. degree programs in Gujarat.
The DDCET exam is also commonly referred to as the D2D exam or DD SET exam. Every year, over 20,000 diploma students from all branches — Computer Engineering, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, EC, and more — appear for this exam to compete for limited seats in top Gujarat engineering colleges.
The DDCET 2027 exam will be conducted around June 2027. Students who have completed or are in the final year of their 3-year diploma program are eligible to appear. The exam consists of 100 MCQs across two papers: BE-01 (Science & Engineering Basics) and BE-02 (Soft Skills & Aptitude), to be completed in 150 minutes.
